Imagine this scenerio...

1 person straddling another person on his shoulder. On top of the other person, there is another person that is straddling on his shoulder.

Technically, the person at the bottom is carrying the weight of 2 individual on his shoulder.

Why then the person in the middle still feels the strain of carrying the weight of the person on top of him?
