Singapore drivers and round-abouts

I was taught driving in UK where I studied there for a good period of 4 years.

Though some might say its always easier to learn driving outside of Singapore but that doesn't mean a driver trained in Singapore is always a better driver than those whom obtained a license elsewhere.

Take for example, navigating and negotiating a round-about.

Singapore has removed most large round-abouts in the late 80s. But there are still some smaller ones in neighbourhood estates. Personally, I feel most younger Singaporean drivers do not know how to enter and exit round-abouts.

Reducing Carbon footprint

Carbon Footprint, what exactly is it?

In short, it is the total greenhouse gases emitted by a organization, country, event or product. And greenhouse gases is probably the single element that contributes most to the global warming effect that the Earth is experiencing now.

In the old days, no one bothers about what is carbon footprint...

Dogs and feet and shoes

My missus recently gave a very interesting point to ponder about dogs and cats.

According to her, she wonders

"Why pet owners allow their pets to go outdoors and return to the house with dirty paws. But yet the owners themselves wear shoes outdoors and remove their shoes when returning to their house to keep the floor clean."

So should dogs and cats wear shoes?
